Discovery Green is proud to host Field of Light, a dazzling art installation by internationally-acclaimed artist Bruce Munro. The vivid, temporary, site specific installation is now on display along the Brown Promenade through Feb. 8, 2015 and it is illuminated from 3 to 11 p.m. daily. The prime viewing hours of the exhibit are after dusk.

The 3rd Annual Curry Crawl returns on Sunday, May 18th from 5-8 p.m. Hosted by Chef John Sikhattana of STRAITS (800 Sorella Court) and held at his restaurant in CITYCENTRE, this year’s line up of 10 competing food trucks and restaurants represent the best in culinary creativity and a variety of cultures and flavors.

World Class Blues and Soul
Shemekia Copeland is a powerful blues and soul singer and the daughter of Houston’s own blues legend, Johnny Clyde Copeland. Shemekia has received 2 Grammy nominations, opened up for the Rolling Stones, shared the stage with Buddy Guy, BB King, Eric Clapton and performed in the White House.
