Tickets: $3.25; free for ages 1 and younger. Take a ride on the Hermann Park Railroad decorated for the season. The festive train takes a two-mile, 20-minute journey around Hermann Park and through the decorated train tunnel. While the train is decked in garland all day, come between 5 and 6 for a special experience after it gets dark. Stop in to Pinewood Cafe before you board for a hot apple cider or cocoa. Closed Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
Saturday, Dec. 14, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Bring the whole family out to Hermann Park for a free afternoon of family fun. Make holiday arts and crafts such as chocolate donut reindeer and ornaments at Kinder Station and take a ride on Hermann Park Railroad. Free and open to the public. Train tickets $3.25; free for HPC Members and kids under 1 years old.

Do you know someone who loves Hermann Park as much as you do but doesn't have a membership? Order them a gift membership. Members receive free unlimited train rides on select Saturdays, discounts in the Gift Shop and Cafe, and free Centennial-themed merchandise at the $100-level and above. They can blow the whistle, sit up front with the engineer, ring the bell, greet guests, see where the train sleeps, and more.
